12u Tigers Make TCS Top 10!

East Cobb Baseball is proud to have the 12u Tigers in Triple Crown Sports 12u rankings top 10. Congrats Tigers!

While the team enjoyed a lot of success on the field, the true reward is seeing the significant amount of improvement of each player and how much fun everyone on the team had playing the great game of baseball.    The coaching staff has a simple philosophy-“ If the guys aren’t having fun, nothing else matters”.  It was very rewarding to see them do things at the end of the season that they couldn’t do at the start.  We established a strong foundation with team lessons with Russ Dickerson throughout the fall.  Russ’ contribution was invaluable to both the coaches and players as he worked with individual players throughout the spring.  One of our primary goals was to challenge the guys by playing against the top teams in the state and country each week.  Whether we won or lost, I feel playing against the best was instrumental in making each player and the team, as a whole, better.  Prior to the season, being ranked as one of the top 10 teams in the country was not a goal but we are very excited to receive this honor.  We will work hard to represent East Cobb Baseball again this upcoming season.
